Adûnaic Grammar

This discussion of Adûnaic grammar is drawn largely from “Lowdham’s Report on the Adunaic Language” (SD/413-440), though some aspects are deduced by examining the phrases appearing in the “The Notion Club Papers” (SD/145-327), particularly the various versions of the Lament of Akallabêth (SD/247, 311-312). I also consulted the grammatical analysis of Carl Hostetter and Patrick Wynne (“Verbs, Syntax, Hooray!”, VT24/14-38), Andreas Moehn (Lalaith’s Guide to Adûnaic Grammar) and Thorsten Renk (Ni-bitha Adûnâyê).
