Tolkien gave this root as WIKI in the Qenya Lexicon of the 1910s with one derivative ᴱQ. ’winka “corner, nook” (QL/104) but the root was listed together with the GW- roots and the ’ in its Qenya derivative seems to indicate its proper form would be *ᴱ√GWIKI. There are no signs of this root in Tolkien’s later writing.
