ᴹQ. Arendien (Arendién-) pn. “Midyear’s Day”

Name of the mid-year holidays from drafts of the Lord of the Rings appendices (PM/134). It seems to be a combination of are “day”, ende “middle” and yén “year”, the last of these supported by its stem form Arendién- as seen in its plural Arendiéni.
