Ilk. [k] ‹c›

Ilk. [k] ‹c›

The voiceless velar stop survived initially from Primitive Elvish into Ilkorin (PE19/18), but it became [g] after vowels (PE19/23) and became [x] (“ch”) after liquids and voiceless stops. It was preserved medially in a few clusters, notably [sk] (“sc”).
