N. Cilthorondor loc. “*Eagle Cleft Land”
Variant name of Cristhorn, also appearing as Cilthor(o)n (Ety/KIL, THOR; LR/405). It is a combination of cîl “cleft”, thoron “eagle” and (sometimes) dôr “land. In one place it appeared as Cristorondor (PE22/41).
