Q. Ciriáran pn. “Mariner King, *(lit.) Ship King”
The title of the lord of the Teleri (PM/341), a compound of cirya¹ “ship” and aran “king”, with the y vocalized to i as it sometimes was in Quenya (for example Maiya > Maia). Given its unusual form (Ciri- rather than Ciry-) this name is likely Telerin rather than Quenya. @@@ revisit elements.
