Birth name of Hyarmendacil II (LotR/1038, PM/199). His name seems to be a compound of vinya “new” and the suffix -ion “son”. Vyacheslav Stepanov suggested that the r might indicate a middle element √RIG “crown”, so meaning “*New Crowned Son” or “*New Crowned One”.
