A neologism for “ferment, brew (beer)” coined by Luinyelle posted on 2025-03-01 in the Vinyë Lambengolmor Discord Server (VLDS), derived from ṣpal-tā as a causative verb form of ᴹ√SPAL(AS) having to do with foam, with its initial consonants vocalizing to isp- > ips- (cf. ipsin < √SPIN). Its more literal meaning is therefore “to make foam”.
