ᴺS. !medhia- v. “to knead, soften” (Category: to Knead)

ᴺS. !medhia-, v. “to knead, soften” [created by Roman Rausch, VQP] (Category: to Knead)

A neologism for “to knead, soften” coined by Roman Rausch appearing in VinQuettaParma Wiki (VQP), from primitive *mazga- based on the root ᴹ√MASAG “knead, make soft”. It demonstrates the Sindarin sound change whereby zg became ðɣ and then ɣ vocalized to i after a consonant. See also (rejected) N. madhias “softness” which had similar developments.
