ᴺS. !rhûd n. “dwelling underground, artifical cave, rockhewn hall, mine” (Category: Cave)

⚠️ᴺS. !rhûd, n. “dwelling underground, artifical cave, rockhewn hall, mine” [created by David Salo, GS] (Category: Cave)
S. groth “large excavation, delving, underground dwelling; [N.] cave, tunnel, [G.] grot”

A neologism proposed by David Salo in his Gateway to Sindarin, the equivalent of Q. hróta (GS/284). It might even be attested as an element in Hadhodrûd “Dwarrowmine”, a deleted variant of S. Hadhodrond “Dwarrowdelf” (WJ/419), hat-tip to Vyacheslav Stepanov for pointing this out. As we already have plenty of attested words for caves and mines, I see no need for this word.
