ᴺQ. !sinyar n. “news” (Category: New)
A neologism coined by Boris Shapiro in Parma Penyanë Quettaron (PPQ) from the early 2000s, a plural form of [ᴹQ.] sinya “new” and inspired by [N.] siniath “news, tidings”. Robert Reynolds instead suggested ᴺQ. vinyar in the 1000 Words project (1000W) as a plural of vinya “young, new”, but I think sinyar is better because I believe sinya “new = of the current time” vs. yinya “young, new = of little age”.
