ᴱQ. lúke n. “slime” (Category: Mud, Mire)

⚠️ᴱQ. lúcë, n. “slime” (Category: Mud, Mire)
ᴺQ. ^sucul “sticky matter, slime, ⚠️gum”
ᴹQ. lúcë “enchantment”

A noun in both the Qenya Lexicon and Poetic and Mythological Words of Eldarissa of the 1910s glossed “slime”, derived from the root ᴱ√LUKU (QL/56). The root √LUK had other meanings in Tolkien’s later writings, and there is no obvious way to salvage this word.
