ᴱQ. markirya was the word for “ark” in the title of the poem ᴱQ. Oilima Markirya “The Last Ark” from around 1930 (MC/213). It is a combination of ᴱQ. mar “home” and ᴱQ. kirya “ship”.
Neo-Quenya: Its elements remain valid in later versions of the language, so I would keep ᴺQ. marcirya “ark” for purposes of Neo-Quenya.
