A word appearing in Late Notes on Verb Structure (LVS) from 1969 meaning “I will, agree (to do)” as a combination of sá [†þá] “yes” and quet- “say”, so more literally “say yes”.
Neo-Quenya: In a 2026-05-23 post in the Vinyë Lambengolmor Discord Server (VLDS) arising out of a conversation in the Neologism of the Day thread, it was suggested that this verb may also mean “*to consent”.
