ᴱQ. †aika adj. “broad, vast” (Category: Wide, Broad)
A word in the Qenya Lexicon of the 1910s marked as archaic [†] and glossed “broad, vast”, derived from primitive ᴱ√EI̯KA (QL/29). This Qenya word was also mentioned in the contemporaneous Gnomish Lexicon (GL/32) and Gnomish Lexicon Slips modifying that document (PE13/113), in both cases as a cognate to G. eg whose principle meaning was “far”. This Gnomish cognate was also mentioned in the Qenya Lexicon, but without translation.
