Conceptual Development: Demonstrative, Relative, and Correlative Stems (DRC) from 1948 had ᴹQ. sine “this” as the pronominal form of ᴹQ. si (PE23/102, 107), apparently used of both things and persons. The Early Qenya Grammar (EQG) of the 1920s had ᴱQ. qinqe for pronominal “this” (PE14/55).
